Post subject: holroyd
thanks amrad...
I found out my spelling of the name was slightly wrong... its supposed to be john holroyd. he was a clockmaker in waterbury in the early 1700s.
still havent got a 'ballpark' figure tho as to the worth of this clock.
thanks, julie
