Post subject: Kalex World Clock Help
I recently aquired an electric Kalex World Clock. The information on the back of the clock states that the copyright is 1951 and it was made by the Kalex Corporation New York, N.Y. USA. The clock is encase in red leather, but it does not run. I want to repair it, but there are two seals on the back of it that read "Caution, Do Not Break Seal". Will it destroy the value of the clock, if the seals are broken? I have tried to research this clock on-line, but I can not find information on the Kalex brand name. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me with my efforts to restore this great looking timepiece. Thanks.
