Post subject: Kieninger 9 tube Chime Hammer adjustments
Anyone care to share any tips/tricks for Chime Hammer adjustments to obtain max volume and quality of chime sound?

Hammers should typically be gapped from the corresponding chime rods by about 3/32" - to 1/8" (although your ear will confirm the best dimension gap). Also make certain the hammer is centered directly over each corresponding chime rod. The other factor is that sound quality tends to be best when the hammers are striking the rods 3/4" to 1-1/4" down from the underside of the casting block that the chimes protrude from.

Thanks Chris! I'm sure you meant "tubes" instead of "rods" right?
