Hi all
I have recently been given a large wall clock and I’m trying to find out how old it is and who mad it, the clock measures 25 inches across and 6 ½ inch deep, its made of wood maybe walnut, but I’m not sure, I would be grateful if someone could through some light on this clock, you can see the clock by clicking on the link below or copy and paste to the address bar, many thanks Sam from Bradford uk..

From all outward appearances I would say that the clock is not antique but is of fairly recent manufacture. I'd hazard a guess and say that it could be a 31 day time and strike movement and was manufactured off shore. It has similarities to many movements imported from the orient over the past 30 years.
