Post subject: Looking for Information on Antique Grandfather Clock
Hi. I am new to this forum and was hoping someone could provide me with some information regarding this Grandfather's Clock. How old is it? How can I tell who made it? What is the current value?

Try your best to look for any identifying markings. Older clock assemblies may typically have some type of certificate of origin, sometimes identifying the clock maker and the year built. Usually this will be found on the inside of a back panel (or on the backside). In some cases, it may be possible to trace the clock through the movement used. Some manufacturers even created their own movements, and identifying markers could be located there as well. You may also seek reference books which illustrate antique clock assemblies. Keep checking back within this forum as well, as there are numerous patrons who are far more experienced than I at this sort of thing. They may have further suggestions to help assist you.
