I'm a newbie here - a friend said you might be able to help. I am looking for some info on this clock, which may only be a basket case, but which intrigues me because of its age and inside face painting. The front face measures about 13" by 11" including frame. The box holding the works is about 5" by 5" by 5". There is no glass covering the hands, but the clock face is inside-painted glass. I am especially interested in age, where was it made, style, and if you can, what the writing inside one of the side panels says. Here are 4 images; more and larger images are available if needed. possibly black forest type wall clock. don't recognise anything else
