Looking to make a clock strike mechanism

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can find the plans to build a simple clock strike mechanism out of wood or any other material? The kind that would hit a large bell with a hammer from above, below, or the side. The simpler the better.

I would like it to count out the hours, maybe attached to a hobby motor kicked off by a quartz clock.
