Low battery clock

I have a big clock that is battery operated. It is a Sterling & Noble. I was wondering if these "chirp" like a fire detector when the battery is low.

never heard a clock chirp when the battery is low.

The best sign that your clock battery is getting low is a progressive loss of time.
