Main Spring and bushings

I need to order a main spring to go in a barrel and I'm not sure what kind of spring to buy. I also need to change one of the bushings. I haven't done this before so I would appreciate any tips.

as you've never done this before i would recommend you buy a repair book as it is too detailed to into here.
i would recommend any practical repair book by either Eric Smith or Donald de Carle.
second hand ones are available .
