I have a locket that is 1.5" in diameter and 1/4" deep. I wanted to make it into a pocket watch since it had so much space in it. I'm not sure what size clock insert to buy: either the ones under 1" or the 1 7/16" ones. I'll show pictures too so you can see the inside of the locket.


Which size should I buy?
As a matter of fact will this project even work? Should I even attempt to do this? I don't want to buy the insert and it doesn't work.

if the inside is 1.5", and the depth is 1/4" it should fit. You are really going to have to get a movement to make sure the locket will close.
