Post subject: Manthe clock part
I found in the trash one month ago an early 20th century Manthe wall clock.
Apparently the only problem is the part who hold the pendulum to the mecanism,it is a very fragile part who is made of two thin piece of steel.
This part is available somewhere or i need to make it myself.(with a piece of feeder gauge for example)
Best regards.

pretty much a standard item, you can buy from timesavers or merritts antique clocks. It's a suspension spring.
Great, thanks but there's so much to choose from.
the metal blades are .05mm thick 2mm large and 5mm between them.
The block with the pin is 7mm by 8mm and 1 mm thick.
I don't have the other end of this part so the lenght is unknown.
Some models need a screw to hold the suspension spring but not this one i think.
thanks and regards.

you could probably get the variety pack. Most likely the spring broke where the other piece of plastic was, so you could just measure the length by adding the plastic dimension on the broken end to get a rought idea of the size, and finding the nearest one.
