Please Help!
My dad has made many mantle clocks using parts from Klock-it. He took great pride in his clocks. He had a grandfather clock that he purchased and a mantle clock that he made in the same room that would chime together. Dad passed away in December and unfortunately he did not teach mom or any of his daughters how to keep these clocks functioning. The grandfather clock has the center weight hanging farther down than the other two. It does not keep time at all. The mantle clock is not keeping accurate time even with a new battery. I have set it a couple of times and now the chime was at the 40 minute mark. Are there any instructions or guidelines available on repairing and maintaining? If you need more specific information I can get that for you.
Thanks!

While it is a bit too early to tell at this time, there may be simple solutions to both movement problems (aside from replacement). I would recommend seeking more information on possible causes of each particular movement problem. Please understand that regardless of when any given movement was purchased, you are more than welcome to contact Klockit Technical Support with questions and/or concerns. We feature technicians for battery operated quartz movements, as well as mechanical movements, and the advice is always free of charge. We may also have archive instruction manuals available to retain for future reference (in case one of the movements may no longer be offered). Please contact us at 1-800-556-2548.
