My son-in-law just bought me a Model625-224 /625-232/645-424 in Marquette, Michigan. The clock works beautifully when laying flat on the kitchen table, but hang it on the wall and the minute hand will not work. When it gets to about 10 after it flops down and that is the end. It is a Santa face with Christmas carols. Can I tighten the hands anyway? Thank you, Mary

well, without seeing it I am having a had time imagineing it. If it is one like I am thinking you will need to disasembe the clock to get at the dial, then you will have to press the hand down tight on the shaft if it is indeed loose. be sure to do this only when it chimes. When you hear the music start going press it down pointing to the 12.

If the hand is tight on the shaft then you have more of an issue, the movement is probably missing a couple teeth on a wheel. again just speculating without seeing it.
