Many clock movements of that era (Ingraham included) use a one piece suspension rod consisting of a suspension spring at the top which fits into the suspension stud on the clock. Attached to the spring is a wire rod. A hook must be formed at the end of the rod. Your wooden pendulum stick and bob is then attached to the hook.
Replacement suspension rod/spring combos are sold by several parts suppliers. These are sold unfinished. The length of the wire rod will have to be trimmed to work with your particular clock and a hook must also be formed at the bottom of the rod to fit the hook in your wooden pendulum.
In some cases, like early kitchen/shelf or mantel clocks for example, the pendulum bob hangs directly on the hook formed on the end of the rod. These spring/rod units are usually available in a couple of lengths (12" up to 19").
