movement replacement

hi im looking to find a replacement movement (battery) for a seico wall clock id as "QSE639G". the case size measures 1 7/8 X 2 inches. i hope you can help me find a replacement......ed

I looked at a couple clock suppliers websites, and do not even see a size that is close.

That being the case I would measure the inside dimension of where the movement is mounted, and measure the length of the handshaft, this should yield you a movement that will fit.

I think Tochigi Tokei are now the replacement Seiko movements.
Can't find info about them.

I have a movement in front of me that is the same size with Tochigi Tokei on it and takes a battery half the size of normal aa ones.

try lots of normal suppliers - just because they don't list it doesn't mean they don't stock it. Also could ask if they know where you could get one.

if you've got enough room just fit a standard quartz movement and adapt the hands to fit.

Here is a company in the UK that has a small movement 51mm dia.
