This clock was obviously built to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo. I am almost certain that it is of English origin. Around the dial are the names of the English military leaders including Wellington. I assume that Napoleon is there also. The clock has some automata features in the dial arch from what I can tell and a calendar feature as well.
The movement is a cable wound 8 day movement with hour striking on bell and most probably dates from early 19th century.

I concur. These are called longcase clocks also and you have a nice example.
Value depends on condition as well as age and whether that particular style is in demand or not. In other words, hard to say accurately maybe a 1k GBP at least.
