need help identifying a grandfather clock or dial maker

I recently bought a beautiful english grandfather clock with a 30 hour chain driven movement the name on the dial is partly worn .The remaining letters are (G ?? ?loss) under that is the word "aspaleia" any help would be greatly appreciated.
