Need help with an antique mantle clock

I am pretty new to antique clocks, having grown up with them, but not delved into them much myself. Recently though, I found this mantle clock and just had to have it. I have researched online for info on age and maker, but have not been able to find anything quite like it yet. The only logo or mark I can find on it is on the face and says F.S. in small black letters. I was told this is possibly sessions, but haven't yet seen another "F.S" clock.

The clock itself is all wood with a black back and inside. It has a paper face with metal overlay and does have a thin metal cover for the door on the back. Any info would be most appreciated!

In addition, I'm having problems with getting it to stay running. It is wound and will tick for anywhere between 5 minutes and 30 minutes before getting slightly off-beat and then stopping.
