I have a New England wall clock with pendulum with wind up spring.
It has not worked for several years.
When I last was winding it, something snapped and wind up key was then turning freely.
So I assume the spring either broke or disconnected.
I looked one time for a replacement mechanism, but could only find battery replacement units.
I had a little time this morning, decided to see if I can find problem.
Took off the mechanism cover, but not sure what to do next, whether to remove from front or rear. I have photos, but thought I start with this.
Clock was made about 1970.
