Number fo chimes doesn't match hour

My mother-in-law just gave me her grandfather clock.The name on the face reads "Decor Clocks". It runs beautifully and keeps good time, however the number of bongs for the hour are 4 hours behind the real hour. Any suggestions onhow we can adjust this? Thanks

u can usually move the hour hand around to the correct hour . its friction tight. hold as near the center as possible to avoid breaking.
