Hi, I hope someone here can help...
The link below (you may have to copy and paste it) should show you our much loved Black Forest fully working Cuckoo Clock my grandfather left me 10 years ago. He had owned it for as long as I can remember.
It is 100% working and the wood looks as good as new!
Has anyone ant idea on age/maker/value?

It would be good if you had pictures of the movement. It appears to be of newer origin, most cuckoo clocks have a weight driven movement. Hard to tell from the pictures but some of decorations may be made of a plastic resin (everything looks very precise, look at the birds feet)

Not sure of the value, maybe $100?

All the carving are simply hooked in place and look amazing, clean, as if it has just been finished. That was always the joy of looking at it.

Oops, we just realised when I took the first photos there is a carved 'Leaf' that hangs below it that swings side to side that we took of to take the back pics, here it is....

The additional pictures help, as the others made it have a plastic look. Value $700

nice clock. hard to place these accurately but could be 1890 ish.

you will find a close match in book about black forest cuckoo clocks, in ge4man called schwarzwald uhren.page 253,

value hard to say
