Post subject: Old clock.
Dear Sir, this is an old clock i picked up at a car boot sale, I've managed to get it up and running, I thought it might be a Waterbury or a Seth Thomas, but now i'm not so sure.
There is a letter z or a w stamped on the works frame and a barrel pendulum which I dont think is right for this clock. It runs for thirty hours and has a time and alarm. As you can see from the accompanying
images the alarm system is set apart from the main clock works. Can someone please identify this clock for me.

Looks like it has been cobbled together, case looks refinished, decal on glass looks out of place, not sure of the pendulum looks out of place.

Hi , Amrad, thanks for the post, I agree with you the decal is not right and possibly the pendulum as well, have you any ideas regarding the working parts. I.E. Maker, age, etc, etc.

No idea who the maker could be, it is an Octagonal Cottage Clock style. Try the nawcc.org forum, someone might have an idea.

New Haven did similar clocks and the pendulum looks right to me.
