Overhaul periods for a mechanical movement?

Three years ago I completed a grandfather clock build and it has been running just fine since then but now I wonder what are the recommended service/cleaning/oiling periods. The movement is Hermle, triple chime and chain driven.

Oil every 2-3 years, complete overhaul/cleaning every 5-7 years

just to add to what Amrad said - don't over oil or it will ned cleaning sooner.
