We have had a Sligh grandfather clock in storage I guess you should say for several years. It always ran perfectly before. I put the weights and pendulum back on today and somehow the pendulum hits one of the rods when it swings. The clock is level etc. and I'm sure there's probably an easey solution. Just want some advice first.. THANKS!!

Is it possible that the pendulum was slightly bent in storage?

You could also check to make certain the suspension spring was not broken.

Could it be possible that the dial/movement is sitting too far back in its case?
