Is the pendulum on the quartz movements adjustable? Most of them are around 16 inches, and I need 8 inches.

Most (if not all) pendulum quartz movements feature a "break-away" pendulum stick. While the starting length is 16", the pendulum stick is actually notched on the backside at 1" increments (or there-about). This allows you to make the pendulum stick whatever length you should want (up to 16"). Because of these notches, you can simply remove the stick from the pendulum bob and bend/break the stick at the appropriate length required. Re-mount the bob, and no one will ever be the wiser that you began with a 16" pendulum. This change was implemented to decrease customer confusion with all the various pendulum length stock number options we offered previously.
