Good Day

I was wondering if you could tell me anything about my Japy Freres clock.

I just can’t seem to find anything like it.

The clock is 18"Hx14"Wx5"D Weighs 30lbs
I would like to know about what year it was made.
Is it rare?
What model is it?

Is there anything else you could tell me?

Thanks
kelbrit

All i can tell is the movement (and maybe the clock) were made probably after 1850. Because i only repair clocks i can only guess the case could be made of marble/slate/onyx/granite or similar material.

I don't recall seeing one before but your best bet is trawling the internet for clues or a antiques dealer. Very nice clock though.

I don't know if it will help, but perhaps this site could lead to some clues... Specifically reference the "known published photos and articles" and "sources" sections...
