Post subject: Please help me identify this clock movement
Recently i have found an antique from my childhood that i used to be very fascinated with. It has a mechanical clock movement in it. The Plate Size is 2 and 1/4". Is there any chance that any of you could help me identify this movement so i can get a similar one? I am trying to reproduce this machine so i need another movement. Any Help Will be appreciated. There is a link below of a picture of the movement. Thanks

Why do you need another movement? Why not clean, bush, and oil this one?

It will be almost impossible to find another movement just like that one. A time only clock movement may work, but some modification would have to take place. The verge would need to be removed, and a fly such as the one one the movement in the picture would have to be made and installed. It could also be done using the strike side of a movement which already has a fly (governor). The fly in the picture is large and outside the movement, so the speed may vary considerably. A large outside fly may have to be made. The opposite side of the movement does not show in the picture, so I can not see how the movement runs the machine. That part would have to be built also. It could be done, but lots of work!!

Thanks for this info. I understand now. Can I hire you or someone else to make this for me? It does not have to be exact. If you look at the picture, you will see a wood wheel with nails sticking out. That wheel acts like a cam. As it turns, it times this machine. One full revolution, shuts the machine down. It is activated by the weight of a coin. The position of the winder and the fly does not matter because I can modify the machine to accept this. I can provide more pictures, but I cannot send the movement. Here is a youtube video of the machine. I appreciate your help and your comments.
