Exactly where do I measure the shaft to see what size of movement to buy? I bought a very large wall clock and after only a few months, it stopped working. The home decor store has now gone out of business.

I believe the movement says Yakane on it and it uses a "C" battery.

Can you help me?

after dismantling clock measure from the freont of the movemnt to the end of the shaft. - mm.
you may also need to change the hands to new ones to fit the new movement.

Keep in mind that if the clock is very large (a clock face larger than 14"), you will want to use a High Torque Quartz clock movement.
