regutting a vienna

Won't be the first one I've done, but getting the 2 previous ones back together was more good luck than anything else.
Is there a 'method' I should use to locate all the pinions when replacing the backplate, it took ages on the last two, as one located another would slip out, I really couldn't see them being originally manufactured in this way, would take far too long.

no particular method - just practice.
i could do it in about 3 -4 mins max. butthen i have been stripping and assembling after repairing for about 40 years so when you've done a few thousand times or so it gets easier!
