A friend has aquired an electric masterclock made by RFT of Leipzig probably during the 1950s/ 60s. Unfortunately, there are no instuctions wiht the clock, such as what voltage it runs on.
Does anyone have any dealings with European electric clocks and know whether wiring diagrams for them can be aquired anywhere?
Thanks.

Although Googling RFT of Leipzig brings up an extensive listing, it is an electronics conglomerate better known for microphones and loudspeakers as well as other electronic devices. Nothing is recorded for clocks of any description.
Most, if not all, european electrical devices operate on 250 volt 50 Hz, although master clocks (similar to many master clocks in North America), do not operate from line voltage but frequently on low voltage. e.g. 6 or 12 volts. Often there would be a step down transformer within the clock itself, particularly if it was intended to operate slave clocks or signalling devices. These would operate from lower voltage.
