Post subject: Robert Browne of Bottisdale, Suffolk
I have a longcase clock by Robt Browne of Bottisdale, I understand that he entered his apprenticeship in 1684 and was active as a clockmaker from about 1700 - 1740
The clock is a brass-faced 30 hr with a single hand & silvered chapter ring
There are cherub spandrels at each corner. The case is pine with an oak door.
