Post subject: Setting a Westminster Movement 4 chime from Klockit
Hello,
This is my first post. I purchased and just received a Westminster, battery operated movement w/speaker, #12266 from Klockit and I have driven myself nuts trying to set it using the instructions I received with the unit. Is anyone familiar with this unit? It has some switches on the back that are not even touched on in the instructions - Set, Reset, and Monitor.
The instructions seem to be wrong. I suspect there must be a different set of instructions that match this movement?
Thanks

All switches (buttons) should be covered on page 4 of the instruction. “Set” and “Reset” should never be touched. I am not certain why our movement vendor put these buttons on the movement – but they are there none-the-less and should not be used. The “monitor” button will demonstrate the chimes. If you should have questions or problems, I would suggest contacting Klockit technical support for assistance with setting this movement.

As a side note: If you have the four-page instruction (#12266A), then I can assure you that you have the correct instruction.
