I've serviced the movements on a Sonora Chime Clock, but don't understand how to mate the two movements. The clock movement (S.T. 89) has 3 wires out the back plate. The upper wire needs to interact with the Sonora movement. But it interferes with the bracket that attaches the Sonora movement to the clock movement.

Can you explain how to bend the upper wire (left side of photo), and which side of the control arm from the Sonora movement to position it?

I also need to know what kind of wire, and how to size it, to connect the strike arms together (only the strike arm from the clock movement is shown in the photo, at the upper side with a little hole it it).

Thanks,
Steve
