Just wondered where I can find a manual for a Sovereign Ltd. Ambassador Grandfather clock. Iwould like to set clock, moon/date, chimes, etc. Also wonder about value of this time piece. It has 3 weights and three chime settings.

Try to identify the manufacturer of the movement if possible. I have read that Sovereign clocks used Urgos and Keininger movements primarily. I would try to find out the movement model number (usually etched on the rear plate of the movement itself), and see if you can find instructions from there. Here's a link where I found some info:

It may be that instructions for any style Grandfather movement manufacturered by either entity would apply to your movement as well (as setting the moon dial and synchronizing the chimes is pretty standard for most GF movements).

In regard to value, I am not certain...
