I have a Ridgeway drop dial mechanical wall clock with Westminister chimes and the clock is working perfectly however I think I may have over wound one of the chime springs. It is a Franz Hermle 341-020 movement. The clock has three key holes. When it chime you only get part of the notes. Is there anything I can do myself to try and free it?

By the way, on this forum is there anyway to be set up to be notified as replies come in? Many thanks in advance, Craig

Read some info and discovered there's no such thing as overwinding a clock which led me to look a bit further and discover the chime damper lever was down, stopping the chimes. I am ashamed Sad
