Post subject: Tock Tick instead of Tick Tock
My mechanical movement is out of beat and can not figure out how to adjust the verge to correct the problem. I will tock tick for a couple of minutes then stop. I have a Hamilton 340-32 movement. Can anyone direct me to instructions on how to fix my clocl?

Beat adjustment will vary slightly depending on the type of movement you have. For example, Klockit mantel clock movements are adjusted via the turn of a regulator screw - while the floor clock units (found in Grandfather clocks) will adjust via a process involving the crutch arm (or over-swinging the pendulum if Auto beat adjustment is an option). Unfortunately, I do not have access to cross reference information for Hamilton movements. Does your movement use a pendulum?
