Post subject: URGOS MOVEMENT HELP
I recently inherited a Grandfather clock which was made by Urgos. As I understand it, Hermle bought Urgos a number of years ago. Unfortunately, the clock I have inherited has had the movements removed and I have been trying to put it all back together.
I was hoping that someone may have an instruction manual available or know where I can get one for the Urgos movement.
The information stamped onto the movement I have is:
UW 3/12A
URGOS
MADE IN GERMANY
NO (0) JEWELS
UNADJUSTED
There is also what I assume is the unit number - 90755.
I would appreciate any help.

Not sure there is a manual.
If you took all the bits of the mechanism to a repairer he should be able to assemble without difficulty. it will need cleaning and oiling if you expect it to work.
Another alternative is to contact Hermle who are still in business and try to see if they do a manual.

Well, I managed to carefully put it all together with some help. Now my problem it how to get it working... Anyone know?
The movements have not been used in years...should I be lubricating them?
