I know this is an old post but it showed up on the first page of a Google search looking for the Youngtown Quartz 12888 movement. I have found that a Quartex Q84P movement from Klockit is almost an exact replacement. The bushing heights are correct. The locking tabs are at the correct location. I found that the minute hand spindle was slightly larger but I was able to drill out the hands that fit the Youngtown with a #29 drill and the second hand can be carefully drilled with a pin vise and a #65 drill bit. Of course if the hands from Klockit are to your liking than you have a suitable replacemnt without drilling.

Best part about this - - Hands are free with purchase of a movement from Klockit - - so this would not be a concern...
